An inspiring story from Dominique O’Mahony and Poppy.
“First I must begin by saying how amazing your products are, and how reasonably priced they are in comparison to a lot of products on the market. Poppy is 22, and in 2009 we went through a rough stage where we thought she would have to be retired from her show jumping career. She continually went lame and we couldn’t work out what it was. However when we took her to the vets, several flexion tests and x-rays confirmed that she had acute arthritis in her front ankles. My heart sank as, I knew, that if she couldn’t be kept sound then she would either have to be sold or put down as she is not the kind of horse to stand in a field all day and not do anything.
The only option the vets gave us was that she should go on Bute every other day in order to keep her sound. However this meant that she would never be able to compete at affiliated level again. At this point we searched the market for product that was legal under BSJA rules, which, to our surprise were relatively few. We tried various products with little or no success. Generally they worked for a very limited amount of time before Poppy went back to being uncomfortable not only when jumping but even when doing flatwork.
It was around January 2010 when we discovered for the first time, Global Herbs. We now use Movefree Plus and Old Age, and it is safe to say that we have never looked back. Within one to two months Poppy was back to herself and back to how I knew her when we bought her. Her performance has changed immensely and I have to say that the Old Age has made her much happier within herself and the Movefree Plus has greatly improved her suppleness.
I regularly recommend your products to friends when their horses have problems as they are so fantastic and work unlike so many products on the market. I especially love that they are herbal and not chemically based, meaning they have a less harsh taste which is extremely helpful when you have a fussy eater!
The effectiveness of your products has only been highlighted further in our results at shows. In August 2012 we won our section at the Wales and West Senior Amateur Championship to become Wales and West Senior Amateur Champion, and we could not have achieved this without your products, so thank you Global Herbs for making such fantastic supplements that work so well!
